Four cares everyone must take to improve their beauty

Hair care

Today, men have become very conscious about their look and style; instead of going to the regular barber shops, they – like their female counterparts - visit beauty and hair salons regularly. For healthy and shiny hair, both men and women should follow these rules.
  • Keeping your hair clean is important; choose hair-care products according to your hair-type and always go for a reputed brand. Use lukewarm water to wash
  • Do not rub wet hair vigorously with a towel, as this is one of the leading causes of damage. Instead of rubbing your hair with a towel, shake off excess water and then stoke your hair with the towel in the direction it grows.
  • Do not use overuse shampoos, hair colours or other hair styling products as they can be harsh to your hair and scalp.
  • Eat a well-balanced diet and drink plenty of water.
  • Get plenty of sleep and lead a stress-free lifestyle; that will promote faster hair growth.
  • Avoid wearing tight ponytails or baseball caps as it can cause hair breakage and hair loss.
  • Trim your hair every 4 weeks.

Lips care

Lip care is an integral part of one's care schedule. It is so because the skin on the lips is very sensitive and tender. Apply lip balm to keep your lips moisturized and soft.
  • Exfoliating(removal of the oldest dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface) the lips removes dead skin and helps generate new and soft skin. You can use any lip scrub available in the shops or homemade lip scrubs. An easy method of exfoliating the lips is to first apply lip balm generously. Then take any old toothbrush, dip it in water and put a pinch of sugar on it. Use this brush to scrub your lips. Wash off and re-apply lip balm.
  • If you spend a lot of time in the sun, you must use a lip balm with SPF(Sun protection factor).
  • Apply honey on your lips for a few minutes and wash it off. Honey is a natural moisturizer and gives you soft lips.
  • Use lemon ridges to scrub your lips in order to remove any darkness since lemon juice lightens the skin naturally.
  • Always protect your lips from harsh weather conditions. Eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits. Eat the food that is rich in vitamins and increase your intake of water. What you eat has a huge effect on how your lips look.

Skin care

With the onset of puberty(maturity), teenagers usually have to come to terms with bodily changes. They certainly experience problems such as pimples and acne and that’s when skin care beauty tips come handy. Here are a few beauty tips:
  • Use light moisturizer that are suitable for normal skin type. If you have dry skin then use heavy moisturizers that would block skin pores and prevent pimples to erupt.
  • Use an antibacterial soap twice or thrice to clean your face in order to avoid pimples.
  • Using harsh soaps and fragrances are not healthy for the skin as they contain strong chemicals that have an adverse effect on the skin.
  • Make sure that you use clean and germs-free towels, make-up brushes and wash clothes as they are one of the major causes of infection that may result into occurrence of acnes.
  • If you are acne prone, it is advisable not to squeeze the pimples. Doing so may result in scarring and skin discolorations.

Feet care

Mostly women tend to ignore their feet unless a problem arises. However, foot hygiene is important to keep fungal infections at bay and to carry off those beautiful shoes.
  • Washing and drying your feet thoroughly, especially the area between the toes is important. If you suffer from sweaty feet, use a medicated powder and wear fresh socks everyday.
  • Pedicure is a must as it reduces the chances of feet-related complications. It removes dead skin from the feet, prevents ingrown toe-nails and helps one get rid of calluses and corns.
  • Before the onset of summers, pamper your skin by exfoliating the dead winter skin and massage your way to a smooth and supple cover. Regular use of hydrating masks can also keep dry and dull skin away.
  • Deep-cleanse your feet. Wearing sandals and flip-flops regularly can stain your soles and even regular pedicures may not help. Dip your feet in a basin filled with a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide, then scrub away the discoloration with a pumice stone.
